Hampers in Action 2013
Christmas is all about sharing and what a wonderful way to conclude our 2013 by donating 20 hampers to the local families?
JCI Eastern members got together with our wonderful wonderful sponsors just before Christmas and prepared 20 hampers full of goodness to benefit families close to our local chapter. We received generous cash donations from our supporters and in-kind support from local businesses and community groups including the Ismaili Community, My Malaria Mission, Mighty Impression and THEOAK Studio. Hamper items included towel and body scrub, hand-made soap, coffee, chocolate and hand-crafted Christmas decorations (lead-light glass art and various craft work) by primary school students. Hampers were donated to a local primary school and Eastern Relief Emergency Network.
