Peter Hitchener supporting JCI Eastern

JCI Eastern was at the Spring Festival on Sunday 21 Oct, a wonderful community event hosted by the Whitehorse City Council. With music and dance in the background, JCI Eastern members and volunteers handed out many JCI Eastern show bags,  which featured "glow in the dark" mini fans (sponsored by CFA) and information sheet about our award-winning Wish Tree 2012 Christmas Appeal. JCI Eastern's tent was also visited by Peter Hitchener, who has a keen interest in communities and is always happy to support community members.

Our award winning Art2Heart 2012 program has started!

Come and learn about our exciting Art2Heart 2012 program at http://jciart2heart.blogspot.com.au/, a grass roots initiative aiming to engage disadvantaged kids through arts. Supported by Monash City Council and led by Amber Somerset, the 2012 program consists of cartoon arts, print making, mandala painting, ceramics workshop, glass art and a visit to the National Gallery of Victoria.

You are invited: Anti-Malaria Charity Show

JCI Eastern in conjunction with Mrs and Ms India Quest 2012 proudly presents you Anti-Malaria Charity Show.

So come and join us on Sat 26th of May 2011 at Jaycee Hall, 12 Silver Grove, Nunawading, VIC. This is a special charity show featuring music performances, Indian dances, fashion parade and fun quiz to support United Nations Foundation’s Nothing but Nets anti-malaria Campaign.

$10 per head (proceeds go towards Nothing but Nets Campaign to purchase mosquito nets)
