Suzi presented at the Opening Doors Community Leadership Program

Our chapter president, Suzi, was invited to present JCI and our community projects to the participants of the Opening Doors Community Leadership Program on Thursday 28th of July 2011 in Chadstone. Suzi met a past JCI member, Bev from JCI Burvale, on the day. Bev joined JCI in 1979 and she told everyone that her 5 years with JCI was the best 5 years in her life. Needless to say, Suzi was very proud to be a JCI member!

Leadership Workshop with Jennifer Williams, CEO of Australian Red Cross Blood Service

Ms Jennifer Williams is one of Australia’s most highly regarded health sector leaders and has been the CEO of Australian Red Cross Blood Service since 2009. Ms Williams will share with us this August her experience in bringing a not-for-profit organisation forward in today’s challenging environment. Know Your Style

Our July Workshop was Myers-Briggs Type Indicator presented by Dr Andrew Block. Used by many companies such as such as Hewlett-Packard and governments around the globe, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® is the most widely used instrument in the world as a foundation for understanding self and valuing
differences. It helps us to understand our own personality type hence enhance our ability to communicate and work with others and be a better leader to our team.

Online feedback was positive and we thank volunteers who made this workshop a fantastic one.
